Daniel Galván is a doctoral student at the University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education. He is a research assistant working with Dr. Estela Bensimon at the Center for Urban Education. His research interests include: College access and equity for underrepresented students, implementation of higher education policy, and educational experiences of Latina/o college students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education.
Prior to attending USC’s Rossier School of Education, Daniel was Student Life Coordinator at Stevens Institute of Technology. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at New York University.
