Bridging Scholarship to Implementation
CUE’s groundbreaking work helps two- and four-year colleges, universities, and system offices create teams of faculty, administrators, policy makers and staff who inquire into institutional practices and become experts in the experiences and outcomes of their students. These campus and system-level teams learn how to frame unequal outcomes as problems of practice. The CUE Equity Model enables practitioners to reframe daunting problems - too often viewed as the inevitable result of student deficits - as solvable challenges.
In addition to working directly with institutions and systems, CUE publishes reports and papers on a range of topics related to equity. CUE has expanded the scholarship with its examinations of the appropriate use of inquiry methods to transform data into actionable knowledge; and the role of faculty, administrators, and state leaders in improving accountability, institutional effectiveness, and outcomes.
